What types of flowers will we receive?
Because we import flowers from around the world and partner with over 100 growers, our offerings are ever-changing and based on availability of specific flowers. Some examples of what your residents may enjoy include mixed bouquets, roses, tulips, lilies, gerberas, peonies, daffodils, hyacinth and others.
Can we choose the flowers we receive?
While our program does not allow for specific selections, your residents will receive seasonally appropriate blooms they’ll all love.
How do we process the flowers once we receive them?
It’s quick and easy. Your flowers will have traveled a long distance (via FedEx) without water and may appear wilted. Don’t worry, this is perfectly normal. All you need to do is remove any leaves that will be below the water line, clip ½ inch off the bottom of the stems, and place immediately in a vase filled with cold water. In order to maximize shelf life we strongly recommend that boxes be opened and flowers processed immediately upon arrival.
When will we receive flowers?
Flowers will arrive via FedEx on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Do you require any kind of contract or long-term commitment?
Absolutely not! The flowers are great, the Alzheimer’s Association is a phenomenal beneficiary, and residents will be very happy. However, if for whatever reason you don’t want to receive flowers anymore just tell us.
